I want to design the scuba diving torch that would be easy to use, robust and durable.
The shape has to be as simple and minimalist as possible, while enabling the user to handle the torch securely.
On the rear side there should be the on-off switch and the charging ports. I thought it would be handy to have an extra switch position that would make the light pulse the SOS in Morse code.
Here's the basic idea how it could look like.

Here are the photos of my first prototype. It's made of plastic tubing and foam sheet. All held together with some masking tape.

At this point it really doesn't look like much, but I have the very clear idea about it.

Now I see that it should be somewhat shorter and the handle is really too long. I'll take care of it in the next few days.

Some gaps that I found:
1 -  Dogs houses are usually very simple and don't provide any shelter from the wind blowing directly through the entrance. A dividing wall that would provide the additional semi-closed space within the dog house would be a good solution.

2 - My girlfriend's hair brush works really good and even looks nice, but it has some serious ergonomic issues. Either by modifying the handle or by adding some sort of rubbery/sticky material would make the handling much easier.

3 - The chain on my bicycle keeps falling off the chain sprocket. Some mechanism that would prevent the chain to fall off would make my life easier.

4 - The batteries on my mouse are draining too often so I have to take them out for recharging. Some kind of recharging station for the mouse would do the trick.

5 - When pouring the paint from the paint can it always drips of the can edge and it is difficult to clean the can edge so the paint dries there and makes the next time opening of the can difficult.

6 - The sliding pads on my mouse are keep getting dirty and sticky. Some solution for quickly and easily cleaning of the pads would be nice.

7 - An app that would be installed on my phone that would prevent me of making or receiving calls and messages while I'm driving. It could be designed in the way that would check if I have the handsfree device connected and if I'm moving faster than some preset speed and then disable all incoming or outgoing calls or messages.

8 - During the Skype video calls I have to be positioned in front of the camera, this can be quiet boring. The webcam that would track me/my position during the conference calls so I wouldn't have to sit still in front of the camera.
9 - An mirror that would show some basic weather data and/or news somewhere in the corner.
10 -  The system that would allow me to monitor the elctricity, water and gas consumption of my house.

This is the special brush for the dogs. I would consider this as a sample of good design.
The body is made of quality plastic and the brush blade is made of stainless steel.
The handle is made of rubber and has an ergonomic shape which makes the handling very easy and comfortable.
An extra feature is the cleaning mechanism which enables me to remove the dog's hairs from between the brush's "teeth" by simple push on the black lever.
Really a good and quality device.
